About The Library

The Library consists of four floors with each one dedicated to one media access. The first floor houses the books, periodicals, information desk, check-out counter, video collection, and the advance research assist areas. The second floor houses the computer lab. The third floor houses the video production lab, sound production lab, and the technology research lab. The basement houses the historical research and book archive.

Library Procedures

General Rules and Regulations

In order to maintain a safe and welcoming environment for everyone, the WLML requiresd all visitors to comply with the following General Rules and Regulations:

  • Visitors may not use harassing or thretening behaviors, or use obscene or abusive language.
  • Visitors may not make unreasonable noise, including loud talking on a cell phone.
  • Visitors may not possess a knife, gun, or any other weapomns.
  • Visitors may not smoke, including electronic cigarettes, in the library or on library property.
  • Visitors mauy not use alcohol or illegal drugs, and are not permitted on library property while under the influence of either.
  • Visitors must maintain appropriate personal hygiene.
  • Visitors must wear clothes and shoes while in the library.
  • Visitors may not sell or advertise any goods or services.
  • Visitors may not bring any animals into the library unless it is a service animal.
  • Visitors may not damage, deface, or misuse any library property.
  • Visitors may not engage in any activity that is in violation of federal, state, or local law.

Please also be aware that:

  • The library is not responsible for personal items thjat are lost, stolen, or damaged on library premises.
  • Anyone under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
  • The library is not responsible for children who are left unattended on library property.
  • Any damage to library property by unattended children is the responsibility of the parents.
  • The library reserves the right to inspect bags or any other personal property when visitors enter or leave the library.
  • Copyrighted material may not be copied or distributed.
  • Photography and recording are not allowed on library property without prior permission.
